Solving the unemployment crisis in SA lies in the lap of local business owners. – Harry Welby-Cooke
After South Africa’s Minister of Finance, Tito Mboweni, spoke at the Budget Speech, the latest unemployment statistics were released. Sadly the unemployment stats have not improved over the last quarter but risen to an all-time peak in South Africa’s history.
ActionCOACH Harry Welby-Cooke puts South Africa’s unemployment stats into perspective:
If you visited the Cape Town Stadium (which can seat approximately 50 000 people) every day for 7.5 months, then only will you have seen all the unemployed people in South Africa. Doesn’t that image give you goosebumps?
As fellow citizens of this beautiful country—we call home—we bring you the EveryONE EmployONE campaign – to encourage all our business owners and entrepreneurs to employ just one more person in their business. If we join forces and collectively do this, it will have a HUGE impact on South Africa’s economy, as it will half the unemployment rate!
