Meet John Creighton – Internationally Certified Business Coach

What motivates me every day:

To end pain, stress & burnout, by guiding Business Owners to build extra-ordinarily successful businesses

Having spent more than 30 years in various Executive Leadership roles and in a number of entrepreneurial ventures, John is a seasoned & highly regarded Business Executive, Entrepreneur, Mentor, Speaker and Internationally Certified Business Coach.

Known as the ‘Get more Guy’, John guides Business Leaders to ‘get more’ from their Business – more revenue, more profit, a more focused Team, more personal time and to build their Business into an asset of real value.

John is a bit of ‘workaholic’ (in a good sense!), whether it’s office ‘work’, exercise ‘work’ or relax ‘work’.

He secured his first job when he was 13 years old, working every school holiday thereafter (he says he needed to fund his hobbies somehow). Once finishing school, John joined the Navy Marines and thereafter, secured his first ‘real job’, as a switchboard operator of a Hotel. He rose through the ranks and eventually became the Managing Director of a Hotel Group, overseeing more than 40 Hotels across Southern Africa.

John is highly entrepreneurial and has been involved in a number of start-ups, the most successful of which, achieved 9th place in South Africas top 100 fastest growing Companies and which was successfully sold to a Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed Company.

A Cornell University (USA) Alumni, John has an innate understanding of business development & growth. His key attributes include strong analytical, strategic, communication, sales and interpersonal skills, a well developed ‘make it happen’ approach and a proven track record of achieving strategic & operational goals.

John is very well travelled, having spent a number of years living and working in the United Kingdom and the United States. He has travelled extensively through the British Isles, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & South East Asia but his love for Africa, it’s people, it’s diverse cultures and exceptionally beautiful countryside, is why he’ll never leave Africa.

In his spare time, John enjoys cycling, surfing, gym, going to movies and reading. It’s not all ‘business’ with John, as he has a great sense humor and a warmth about him, which makes you feel as if you’ve known him for a lifetime.

It’s Johns passion for guiding business owners to build thriving businesses that motivates and inspires him daily. In his own words, he describes what he does as simply, ‘I guide Business Leaders to get their Business to where they want it to be (faster, with better results & less stress than doing it on their own), so that they can live the life they dream of‘.

When asked why he does this work, he says ‘besides the successes I’ve had, I’ve had tough times by experiencing the pain of business ownership (hospitalised twice for exhaustion breakdowns). I don’t want anyone to experience the same, so I’m completely driven to create thriving business’s while ensuring the business leader doesn’t burn-out in the process. We (as entrepreneurs) take the risk to start/own our Business’s, we deserve to enjoy all the rewards’
