Introducing 2024

We trust you’ve had an amazing Festive Season and enjoyed quality time with family and friends.  If you managed to take leave we hope you’re energised and ready to make 2024 the best yet.  If you did have to work through we thank you for keeping the economy going whilst we could take a break :)  ,We’re now fully back at the wheel so hopefully you’ll get some downtime soon.

May we wish you a very successful, full and fulfilling year in 2024.  May it truly be filled with health, wealth and happiness and one where you exceed all the dreams and goals you’ve set for yourself, your family, and your business.

That being said, it’s already Week 3 of January and definitely time to start Getting into ACTION!  The excitement a new year brings is quickly lost and to ensure you have a better year this year, you’ll have to get going quickly.  2024 will no doubt again have its fair share of challenges, both locally and internationally.  Many of the same issues from last year still linger and there’ll always be new ones added to the mix.  2024 is also an election year in South Africa and that always brings about further ‘fun and games’.  Politicians across the spectrum will make promises few will ever keep and in fact, few will ever have the available budget to fulfil.  Bottom line is that no-one, and I mean no-one, is going to make your year better for you and no-one, yes again no-one, will be putting extra money into your bank account anytime soon.

So what to do?  Decide!  Decide what is truly important to you.  Decide what you need to prioritise to move forward.  Decide what you need to focus on and what you need to say no to.  Decide who you need to help you as well as who perhaps needs to not be allowed to steal your time.  Decide.  Just decide.

For 2024 we’re setting our goals based on the South African bush.  Annual goals are being set using the BIG 5 (Leopard, Lion, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino).  We’ve also focussed on our BIG 5 critical success areas of life, namely: Health, Wealth, Personal, Business and Contribution Goals.

Those then get broken down into quarters and thus become our the little 5 (Leopard Tortoise, Ant Lion, Elephant Shrew, Buffalo Weaver and Rhino Beetle).  Every quarter we’re focussed on Health, Wealth, Personal, Business and Contribution goals.  Add the 4 quarters together and one can put together quite a special year.
