How to Build a Business You LOVE!

It’s that time of the year again… Love is in the air!  I firmly believe that our love of another person is something that should be constantly expressed, worked on and strengthened throughout our lives – and not just one day every February. Our passion must be strong and evident during the good times and the challenging times, when we are together and when we are apart. If we commit to doing so, our lives are so much more fulfilling.  The same is true when it comes to our relationship with our business. Throughout our history, there have been many iterations of this quote by Confucius – “Choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life”. Even during difficult times, if you truly have a passion for your job, career, and business, every day is not one of work, but one of growth and fulfillment.  As an ActionCOACH Business Coach, I have a strong passion to coach my clients to develop and implement specific plans to take their business to the next level of success, as this in turn brings success to my own business.  Does this mean that my clients and I do not have to work ON our businesses to keep the passion burning? Absolutely not. The only way we are going to love working IN our business is if we take the necessary time by working ON our business.  How you can achieve this:

• Get clarity on your dreams, vision, and goals. 
• Ensure that your business has a solid foundation in order to survive and grow. 
• Put the correct processes and systems in place to bring efficiencies to the business.  
• On-board, train and develop the right people to do the tasks that we do not have a passion for.  

My new iteration of Confucius’ quote is: Work ON your business to build one that you love and you will never work a day for the rest of your life.  In 2022, let us all make it a great year and spread the LOVE!
